Process the past.
Live with more freedom.

If you have ever wondered 'Why am I like this?' or 'What's wrong with me?', Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) could be the therapy to help you understand yourself better, break unhelpful patterns and help you build the life you desire.

Can EMDR help me?

If you're struggling with childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, or feeling defeated in controlling your anger or attempts to stop overthinking, EMDR offers a proven path to release these burdens. EMDR is useful for individuals who experience attachment wounds, difficulty in relationships, struggle with self-esteem  or managing intense emotions. Additionally, EMDR is helpful for individuals who have experience in traditional talk therapy and gained insight but find that insight alone did not create lasting change. No prior experience in therapy is required for EMDR.

How EMDR Works

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people process distressing experiences so that painful memories feel less overwhelming in the present. EMDR follows eight phases while moving at a pace that is comfortable to you. Before approaching anything painful, we first build trust, stability, and a sense of safety. We explore how your experiences have shaped your life and the meaning you've made from those experiences. When you’re ready, we process difficult memories with guided eye movements, or another form of bilateral stimulation, allowing the brain to "digest" the memory in a new way. The goal isn’t to erase the memory. It’s to help the brain process what happened so the memory can become less emotionally charged, less vivid, and less disruptive in the present.
