Can EMDR help me?
If you're struggling with past trauma, anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in automatic patterns or emotional reactivity, EMDR offers a proven path to release these burdens.
EMDR is ideal for individuals who can identify specific distressing memories or periods of life that weigh on you, including situations, sensations or relationships that bring up disproportionate responses. Or maybe you have experience in traditional talk therapy and gained insight but find that insight alone did not create lasting change.

How EMDR Works
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an
evidence-based therapy approach, working through 8 phases to reduce the emotional intensity or vividness of a memory. In session, we begin slowly. Before touching anything painful, we build trust, stability as we understand the meaning you’ve made of your experiences, including impacts of pain, isolation, responsibility, and loss.
In later phases, the memory ‘network’ is safely activated while using dual attention. We achieve this using bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements). In this process, we allow and trust the brain's natural capacity to move toward healing when given the right conditions.
